Cornerstone Fall Festival

On Saturday afternoon, Grammaw, John McRae, and I headed to the Cornerstone Fall Festival. We didn't take as many photos as we should have, but I did manage to snap a few. I wish I had captured one of John McRae and Judah, but she was a very busy girl and so was he!
We certainly enjoyed the company, games, and fun.
Many thanks for the invite!
I'm very excited about the very last picture. Be jealous, Sweet Olive love is just as precious as it looks! I'm so glad to finally get to hold her! :)

Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday, we went to Circle S Pumkin Patch. John was especially excited because he got to see NeNe on a Saturday. He definitely considers the Andrews Bunch a part of his family.
As usual, it took John McRae a little while to warm up. Once he did, there was no catching him! Maybe I'm a little partial, but he was so stinkin' cute with his button up and boot cut jeans on.
(His dad is pretty easy on the eyes, too!)
Who says only little girls can dress to impress?
Here are a few pictures from the day.

How cute is he?!?

NeNe & JMc

Cutest cowboy ever!

One of my favorites.

He looks like such a natural cowboy. :)

JMc loves Ally!

We topped this trip off with a trip through the drive-thru at
Chick-fil-A and then home to nap before the Cornerstone Fall Festival.

Somedays...

it is even harder to go to work on Monday morning. Especially days like yesterday when John McRae is super sweet and cuddly.

And then he says, "One more time, Mama." I guess he wanted a pic of him drinking his milk.

Stacy

Picture Day

My Mother-in-Law and I set out Saturday morning on our way to my Dad's house for a John McRae photo shoot.
The morning went pretty well. Daniel left out early to haul hay, John McRae slept late and allowed me some quiet time while getting dressed, and I managed to get together all of the stuff together that we needed for the day.

We went to pick up "Gamaw" and were on our way to Brewer. I guess my driving was less than comforting to Sam (the puppy) because a little over half way there, we started smelling a stink! I started gagging, freaking out, etc. in true Johnson form causing John McRae to begin freak-out mode saying, "Mama, Mama, Mama!" Now, before we set out, I told Sam, "Do not pee on my book bag." Well, he didn't. He decided to pile up more poop than I ever thought could even fit in to the little dog! Yep, right on top of my book bag, and then a little on the carpet. (My third row of seats were down so he had plenty room to roam, or well, crap.) So, I pulled over in a driveway and discarded of the poop. Sorry folks. I hope you don't step in that when you go to check your mail.
We are now back on the road...with that horrific smell stuck in my nose, and yep, on my arm.
Upon arrival, I clean up dog vomit.
Daddy had the cutest set-up in his front yard for pictures, but John McRae quickly decided he wanted it all different.
Poor Daddy had Max sitting under his butt the entire time he was trying to take the pictures. This is when Lucy (daddy's dog) and Sam weren't chasing each other back and forth between the camera and John McRae.
After Daddy finally captured a few smiles, we went to McRae's house to take a few pictures on the pier. That went over well..not! The entire time, John McRae was more interested in running around and hollaring, "ReeRee, where are you?"
He fell out of the hammock, and I was slow to pick him up because it was the cutest picture. Unfortunately the photographer missed it! His priority was making sure JMc was OK. The mean Mama here knew he was fine and wanted that pic! Ha Ha
After that little stunt, we went to ReeRee's to take a few more pictures and to change in to Elvis mode. We had a lot of fun in the process and ended it with a visit from Cousin Scotty and eating two cones of ice cream. JMc was disappointed that he didn't get to see Uncle Mike.
After leaving there, we made a quick trip to visit Grandma Johnson and then took some pumpkins to NeNe and her kiddos.

It was a good day and we captured some good photos and more importantly, we made some sweet memories.

Just A few John McRae quotes from the weekend...
"Pretty at PawPaw's."
(Meaning he was pretty at PawPaw's)
"Eye-Tar ouch!"
(Guitar ouch, when he hurt his hand on the guitar. He has the cutest way of saying guitar.)
"IIIII Keem"
(The kid needed ice cream motivation to finish up the shoot!)
When I asked him yesterday what he was going to name his new Elephant from Aunt Emma & Uncle Jeremiah, he said, "Water."
This morning when I dropped him off at NeNe's, he saw the pumpkins we left on Saturday and said, "At PawPaw's." He doesn't forget or miss a thing!
The kid is super funny and keeps us on our toes!

He sets my soul on fire!
XOXO,
Stacy
