A somewhat disorganized family consisting of a kind, hard working husband, two adorable kids, and a mama who is attempting domestication against her nature. Our family is very passionate about adoption and enjoys the simple things in life like blowing bubbles, playing in the dirt, and having dance parties in the kitchen.

Donations for Holt Korea
Thanks to an adoptive mom's group on Facebook, Michelle Durant and I realized that our families have something very special in common. Her sweet Pia and our most-awesome John McRae share the same foster family. In case you didn't know, this makes us family. =)
Michelle will be traveleing to South Korea soon to bring Pia home to her forever family. Being the sweet and caring person she is, she has volunteered to take donations with her to Korea when she travels.
If any of you would like to make a contribution, please let me know. Michelle is very trustworthy and is willing to use your cash donations to purchase items from Holt Korea's high needs list. If you are local, I will send your monetary contributions to her for you. If you want to purchase your items for donation online, I can give you Michelle's mailing address so that you can ship it directly to her. This would be the best way to go get donations to her that aren't monetary. If you do not like shopping online, tell me what you want, and I will order it for you. If you don't want to send a check, you can PayPal Michelle from her blog at ourjourneytosouthkorea.blogspot.com. Please, please, please consider taking part in this. As a mother to a son who depended on these type donations for the first 17 months of his life, I totally understand the importance of these donations. Many of the items are easily found in the U.S., but either aren't availabe or are very expensive in Korea. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me!

Every little bit helps. Donations of $5 will buy rice cereal alone. Multiple $5 donations buy Ergos! No donation is too small and they are so appreciated by Holt's staff, the birthmothers who are choosing life for their sweet babies, and all of us who have grown our families through adoption!
XOXO,
Stacy
