John McRae has never been attached to any material thing such as a blanket, stuffed animal, or toy.
Several months ago, he fell completely head over heals in LOVE with elephants. Where ever we go, he looks for them. Any time we are near a pasture, he thinks there has to be an elephant near by. He wants to watch shows with elephants, sing songs about elephants, and anything else elephant. Sadly, the kid has never seen on in real life because our local zoos do not have an elephant. Next month, we are taking him to see a real life elephant at the NOLA zoo and he will be estatic! (Don't tell him, but he is also probably going to meet Elmo and the Sesame Street gang that weekend also!)
Just this week, John McRae decided that he would attach to something that he just had to have with him at all times. Well, this kid definitely does things his own way and on his own time.

Love it!! Have elephants, can travel:)) He gets my vote for good taste. They were my favourite animal as a child they still hold a special place in my heart.
