A somewhat disorganized family consisting of a kind, hard working husband, two adorable kids, and a mama who is attempting domestication against her nature. Our family is very passionate about adoption and enjoys the simple things in life like blowing bubbles, playing in the dirt, and having dance parties in the kitchen.

Where are you weekend?
Today was a bit productive and another day closer to our Gotcha Day! I'm almost done getting my new work laptop ready for six to eight weeks of leave. Daycare has been arranged - huge relief. At lunch, I managed to consume a hamburger, gravy fries, a Hershey bar, and a Kit-Kat. I'm a Mississippian. So, I'm doing my part to keep our state #1 at something - obesity. Grandma J came for a visit at work today. We've been saving cans for Make A Wish for her. She always collects the most. The Christian Singles should give her a plaque or something. She's such a sweet lady and loves to help anyone she can. I'm so blessed to have such a kind and generous family. This afternoon, D & I took the golf cart to check on the cows. Then, we rode around the loop. I can't help but think John McRae is going to really love country living, even though I miss the city! Don't get me wrong, I like the country life, but I miss the convenience. Sinus pressure rules my life at this point, and no matter what I try, it will not leave me the heck alone! I'm still trying to figure out how to make next Thursday and the coming weeks perfect, but I just reminded myself for the bazillionth time that this adoption is in God's plan for us and he will take care of us. If it is a little rough at first, this too shall pass. No need in me borrowing trouble, but it is just my nature to be a compulsive worrier! Come on Friday at 4:30! I'm ready for a little R&R. Until I think of something else to ramble about...

You are going to be just fine!!!! It's not like you don't have 100 people waiting in line to help.
